Chantal, Gabrielle and Nelly set out on a road trip through rural France to attend the wedding of an ex-boyfriend. During the journey many unexpected and surprising events happen to them, revealing the distinct personalities of these three very different women. Together they share all the stress, despair, self-doubt and joy of what it is to be a fifty-something French woman in 2009 and they talk openly about their relationships with men. Funny, fragile and moving, these women will leave you in tears of laughter and sadness.
