Theophilius London is a rapper, songwriter and producer from Brooklyn. Fader magazine places him at the center of the borough's new urban pop movement. His first mixtape JAM! was a buzzy DIY effort that tipped off early adopters in the underground, but it was the independent release of This Charming Mixtape via his brand The Lovers in early 2009 that introduced London's voracious pop appetite and minted him as an artist to watch beyond mere hype. It's possible this is the arrival of a once-in-a-generation talent: Theophilus London is very much in this moment but not of it.

Hopefully SOON HIS INTERVIEW

Born Free
by M.I.A

The very familiar YouTube censored the very violent video clip, Born Free from her new album TNT. Directed by Romain Gavras the provocative French director, Born Free shows an oppressive tale and of rare brutality: an army of young red haired boys are pursued by the army and then executed without further ado. Gavras's crudity of the images obviously doesn't leave anyone indifferent.

You can, of course view it here to make your own opinion but it features nudity and graphic violence.

Batiste Giabiconi
working on an Album

Male model and Karl Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi is working on an album, Beauty Confessional reports. According to a message from Giabiconi's publicist, "Baptiste has a very busy schedule for the time being among the fashion shows, the preparation of his album and his strong involvement in the Association 'Face au Monde' he has no time off for the next few months."

We already have so many questions! When will the album drop? What type of music will it be? Will Karl Lagerfeld shoot the album's cover? Will the Kaiser do any singing?

A fire today has closed the Manhattan Criminal Court building for the remainder of the day. The spark was started in the basement of the facility with smoke traveling to the lobby. Wayne was scheduled to report there in order to begin his year long jail sentence in Rikers. They don’t call him the Fireman for nothin’.

Baby I'm Yours
by Breakbot

Thibault Berlant aka Breakbot is another Parisian "cook" of electronic music, he crafts party tunes. mastered the art of melting together all the best elements of dance, electro and funk with skill and precision. And a laptop.

Born in 1981, Thibaut was immersed in the sights and sounds of the subsequent decade, and remained appropriately pulled between his love of animation graphics/comics, and music. Possessing a degree in computer graphics, he created his first animation short film co-directed with two friends (“overtime”).

He then directed several tv animation commercials and music videos. He helped So-Me on the design of the justice debut album cover. Thibaut now cooks up choice cut electronic music, experimenting with beats, layers, keyboards, vocals, and Daft Punk-esque get-yo-funk-on basslines.

Whilst Breakbot’s remix of Justice’s ‘Let There Be Light’ appears on their Japanese ‘Waters of Nazareth’ 12″, his double A side with Moshi Moshi is his debut solo release. Since then he made remixes for Pacific!, DatA, Late of the Pier, Metronomy, Pnau, Fatlip, Digitalism, Van She and many more.

Nighttiming

Coconut Records is a Los Angeles, indie pop musical project run by Jason Schwartzman, wich began in 2006. A very fresh music that makes you smile and dance just anyway you want without feeling lame cause we all do it when we listen to one of the favourite song of Kristen Dunst (that appared in one of his clip).

Thelma, Louise et Chantal
by Benoît Pétré

Chantal, Gabrielle and Nelly set out on a road trip through rural France to attend the wedding of an ex-boyfriend. During the journey many unexpected and surprising events happen to them, revealing the distinct personalities of these three very different women. Together they share all the stress, despair, self-doubt and joy of what it is to be a fifty-something French woman in 2009 and they talk openly about their relationships with men. Funny, fragile and moving, these women will leave you in tears of laughter and sadness.

You can as well find an extraordinary album BO Thelma Louis et Chantal made for the movie, with the participation of Vanessa Paradis, Caroline Cellier, Melanie Laurent, Jane Birkin, and many more. You can listen to: Vous les copains - Vanessa Paradis and Les filles n'ont aucun gout - Jane Birkin (click on the perfomers to listen)
