Baby I'm Yours
by Breakbot

Thibault Berlant aka Breakbot is another Parisian "cook" of electronic music, he crafts party tunes. mastered the art of melting together all the best elements of dance, electro and funk with skill and precision. And a laptop.

Born in 1981, Thibaut was immersed in the sights and sounds of the subsequent decade, and remained appropriately pulled between his love of animation graphics/comics, and music. Possessing a degree in computer graphics, he created his first animation short film co-directed with two friends (“overtime”).

He then directed several tv animation commercials and music videos. He helped So-Me on the design of the justice debut album cover. Thibaut now cooks up choice cut electronic music, experimenting with beats, layers, keyboards, vocals, and Daft Punk-esque get-yo-funk-on basslines.

Whilst Breakbot’s remix of Justice’s ‘Let There Be Light’ appears on their Japanese ‘Waters of Nazareth’ 12″, his double A side with Moshi Moshi is his debut solo release. Since then he made remixes for Pacific!, DatA, Late of the Pier, Metronomy, Pnau, Fatlip, Digitalism, Van She and many more.

Dresses
this Summer

A lot of possibilities this summer with your dresses ladies. But only one tone of colour: pastel!

Your dress can be casual like this day Lanvin tshirt dress. Straight, confortable and especially easy to where and looking cute. Or silk sequined for the evening like 3.1 Philip Lim's (wich goes into the glitter dress category -as well a must have this summer).

You can wear one-shoulder dress but not that easy to wear, and maybe a little to much classy.

Or transparent ones also quite hard to wear, but it can be cute if it's kind of "light" like this Stella McCartney dress that combines perfectly dentelle (another type of dress) and transparency.

And finally, the straight long dresses as MK and Ashley love to wear. Make it V open in front, so it looks more feminin and not like a potato bag. You can find a lot of them at The Row.

New York must haves

Definitly like this cashmere and silk-blend top from Michael Kors. It suits almost anything: skirts, boyfriend or straight jeans or even those cargo pants.

Very cute Fendi paperbag mini skirt. Can be worn with knitted beanies, a little coton blouse and some very cute wool hat to make it look more sporty.

You can add to any of your looks, this adorable tusk necklace from Isharya.

And you can still be worm and classy with this very fine Wool and the Gang hand-knitted wool hat. Aw and this I-heart-it Alexander Wang rocco mini studded leather bag.

I Think I Like You Too

Nighttiming

Coconut Records is a Los Angeles, indie pop musical project run by Jason Schwartzman, wich began in 2006. A very fresh music that makes you smile and dance just anyway you want without feeling lame cause we all do it when we listen to one of the favourite song of Kristen Dunst (that appared in one of his clip).

Tallulah Harlech

The daughter of fashion royalty decides to strike out on her own in New York. Who can blame her, when an old family friend by the name of Karl Lagerfeld comes calling?

Tallulah Harlech's first Karl Lagerfelds's memory goes up to when she was 12 years old, taken by her mother, Lady Amanda Harlech, backstage at the 2000 Chanel couure show. Lady Harlech was doing walk-troughts with the models, and Tallulah specifically remembers her mother reminding Naomi Campebell to "smile to Puff Daddy" as the supermodel walked down the runway.Tallulah also recalls the hectic scene during the show, but what she remembers most is the finale, when Lagerfeld suddenly grabbed her hand and walked her out onstage to a barrage of flashbulbs. Not a bad introduction to theater, as far as they go. Now 20, Tallulah is looking to outdo her first standing ovation.

Lady Harlech and Tallulah

While Tallulah’s famous fashion mother has always been encouraging about her daughter’s pursuit of acting, Lady Harlech has judiciously decided to let Tallulah succeed on her own merits. Skip to Tallulah leaving London for New York in 2007, briefly attending the Lee Strasberg school before trying to score a part in a stage production. “Everything moves more quickly in New York, and that’s why I’ve stayed,” she says. “Not only is London slower, but people don’t really congratulate success the same way.” Tallulah didn’t have to wait long before being cast last summer in an off-Broadway production of Richard III.

Now she’s scoping out auditions to find, in her own words, “something I believe in.” She adds, “I don’t want to feed any more bad culture to the youth of today.” In the meantime, Mr. Lagerfeld has cast the ingénue in his short silent film on Coco Chanel, which premiered last December. “I play a model at Coco’s hat shop, and my mother comes in as a client,” says Tallulah, who first heard about the project when she and Lagerfeld were up late one night last summer watching silent films at his vacation house in Saint-Tropez. “It was 3 a.m., after a very long dinner,” she remembers. Sometimes it helps to have a few family connections.

Thelma, Louise et Chantal
by Benoît Pétré

Chantal, Gabrielle and Nelly set out on a road trip through rural France to attend the wedding of an ex-boyfriend. During the journey many unexpected and surprising events happen to them, revealing the distinct personalities of these three very different women. Together they share all the stress, despair, self-doubt and joy of what it is to be a fifty-something French woman in 2009 and they talk openly about their relationships with men. Funny, fragile and moving, these women will leave you in tears of laughter and sadness.

You can as well find an extraordinary album BO Thelma Louis et Chantal made for the movie, with the participation of Vanessa Paradis, Caroline Cellier, Melanie Laurent, Jane Birkin, and many more. Terry Richardson
for Aldo

This S/S 2010, we'll have the pleasure to see Jessica Stam posing for Terry Richardson, on all the Aldo's ads. The canadian top model looks really cute with her school uniforms, pink lipstick, jupping out a giant Aldo shoes box, playing with a tiger... You can already purchase this new collection in some countries (since StValentines).

The Row
by Ashley Olsen

I had an enormous pleasure working with a young Serbian stylist Ana Ljubinkovic, during the Fashion Week last November, were she presented her last collection Galactic. I was her assistant, during the preparation of the moment we all waited for impatiently: the défilé!

I could in this way, see how are organised fashion shows, but as well its preparation et most of all how goes on a fashion week

My work was helping Ana. I was than making going and comings to find all the models for the make-up. I was passing messages between the organisers, the choreographer and the stylist. But also, before the models went on stage i had to check if their fringes (on the dresses, tshirts and skirts) were carefully aligned, if their headbands were straight. As well, i had the great privilege to here all the small confidences and the vagaries of Barbie dolls.

Can't wait for the photoshoot in march!
